Review & Reflect on Your Goals

You have started a wonderful program, you were doing so well with your goal of creating a healthier you.

What happened?

You do not have have an answer, but for now you know it is not looking good.

You need to get back on track.

You will be pleased if you make it through Christmas without gaining any weight.

You have come so far and don’t want to fail now.

You want to make a better you; there are so many things you want to change.

Do these thoughts sound familiar?

Setting goals is just the beginning. You will struggle to achieve them if you skip the important step of reviewing and reflecting.

We all have them at some point on our journey to changing our habits to healthy ones.  Let me tell you that, at this time of year it is important to review and reflect on your goals.

Taking time once or twice a week will help you stay focused on why you are making this change.  Once you are focused anything is possible.  My biggest suggestion through the holidays (even through out the rest of the year) is to keep a journal with your goals.

Schedule two days a week to sit down and write about how you are doing with them, what you need to zero in on, and where you want to be.

It is amazing what you can learn about yourself just by doing this one little thing.  Try it! See how it works for you.
